I was devastated to hear about Sarah Harding's passing recently. I met her at the X-Factor finals and she was an incredible person.

Sadly she didn't listen to her body when it was telling her that something was wrong. She ignored the painful cyst in her breast that led her to sadly die from breast cancer.

What can we learn from this?

We should never, ever ignore our symptoms. I've had cancer twice and am so grateful to have received early intervention. Today I am the healthiest I've ever been and plan to live until I'm 102.
