A stray cat mom and her five kittens were discovered living in harsh conditions by a Good Samaritan and taken to a shelter for help.
Despite the cat mom being emaciated, covered in fleas, and having an injured leg, her kittens were found healthy and in good spirits.
The foster volunteer, Debbie Harris, named the cat mom Chile and her kittens Chimi, Taco, Pico, Salsa, and Churro.
Chile, despite her injuries, quickly adapted to her new foster home, showing affection and care for her kittens.
