Mom decided she wanted to get her head shaved yesterday. The tumor on her head was just too painful for her to have hair anymore. It had been bleeding really bad and oozing. So I picked up three turbans at the Cancer Center and we asked her favorite beautician to come to the hospital. My aunt Susie got her head shaved too! My son and I put on red lipstick in support of mom. She was so happy. I know it was such a relief to get that hair cut off her. It had caused her such discomfort. My mom has stage 4 metastatic melanoma.
