How is mammography done? Early detection saves lives!
Breast cancer is curable if detected in early stages. In india, two thirds of breast cancers are detected in advanced stages due to lack of awareness regarding the utility of screening mammography.
1. Mammography is a simple X ray of breasts every woman should get after 40 yrs of age.
2. Breast self examination every month starting at 25 years of age. Any recent change in size, shape and consistency of breast should alert you to consult your doctor for evaluation.

Mammography is a simple X ray of breasts. This test can detect breast cancer in early stages when breast cancer is curable.Every woman should get Mammography starting at 40 years and done every 2 years.
