Things with your skin that are not normal Part 6. This is not normal if you have a scab on your face that won’t heal. I usually say that if something on your face doesn’t heal within a month, go get it checked out by a board-certified dermatologist. It could be a superficial skin cancer like a basal cell carcinoma or a squamous cell carcinoma. These types of skin cancers are easy to treat when caught early so don’t wait.
