OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of this activity participants will be able to:
•Analyze the primary evaluation and initial management of penetrating injuries to the neck.
•Identify the issues and options of the secondary survey and definitive management of these injuries.
•Describe strategies for dealing with life-threatening surgical disease in settings with limited resources.
