There are several types of breast screening available today but the most common heard is mammography.

This is the most common and widely used breast screening method. It involves taking X-ray images of the breast tissue to detect any abnormalities or changes in density.

Mammography is currently the most effective screening tool for detecting breast cancer early, and is recommended for women above 40 years of age.
However, other types of screening may be recommended for individuals younger than 40 years or who have other factors that make mammography less effective.
